Coach Foley's volleyball journey began playing high school and club volleyball in the Denver Area. She left the state to attend The University of Wyoming, where she played as a four year starting setter. After college, Foley returned to Colorado to begin a teaching.

She has been a teacher and a part of the Lakewood High School community for 6 years, teaching English and coaching during her tenure.

Most of her high school coaching experience has been at Lakewood High School, beginning in the fall of 2017. Before Lakewood, Foley coached the JV team at Skyview High School.

Foley sees volleyball as another avenue to teach young women about life, and how to leave things better than you found them.

Coach Ernie brings decades of coaching experience to the Tiger Program. Over the course of his coaching career, he has coached at various clubs and  high schools in the Denver area. This is his third season at Lakewood High School.

Coach Ernie aims to train his players to be adaptable and well rounded players.

He always has a smile on his face, and brings joy and level headedness to the program.

Coach Baker has three years' experience coaching high school volleyball, six years' coaching at the middle school level, and 6 years' experience as a high school volleyball official.

High school athletics provide opportunities for students to tackle challenges and improve their abilities and themselves.

As a coach, Baker works to help players succeed on the court and off. He believes in challenging the limits players sometimes place on themselves, and  working with them to develop with their teammates to be part of something bigger.

A  key factor in coaching is preparing the players for game situations and putting them in positions where they can find the most success.

As the season progresses, Baker hopes to help each player find their intrinsic drive to improve, compete, and mature as an athlete and a person.

This season, Coach James enters his fifth year at LHS as the Level 4 Coach. He has been a volleyball player for over 40 years, and a coach for ten years.

After such a long tenure, Coach James is as passionate for the sport as he was in 5th grade.  His philosophy is in development,- he strives to get players out of their comfort zones to grow in their skills and development.

He likes to emphasize with each player their individual, team, and future goals

We will enforce positivity and growth and encourage empathy and compassion. We will provide the fundamentals and techniques that can be the basis for achieving the next series of goals. We will create “trust”.
